Description: Superwash DK is a lovely standard DK weight yarn made from 100% superwashed merino meaning that the fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore will not felt when washed. The merino is 21 micron and therefore very soft and not at all itchy or scratchy next to the skin. With a 4/9nm construction the yarn has lovely stitch definition and can be readily used in any pattern using a standard DK weight yarn. The merino is mulesing free and comes from South America. 

Care Instructions: Hand wash using a wool detergent ideally below 30⁰C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat, do not sun dry, spin or tumble dry.
