Without the structure of multiple plies, Superwash Merino Worsted Single has a slightly more delicate feel and a subtle halo, giving it a soft, organic look once  worked up. The single ply allows color to sink in with nuance, producing rich tonal shifts and a painterly effect in the final skein. Though less resistant to abrasion than its plied counterpart, Superwash Merino Worsted Single excels in applications where texture and drape are key—such as shawls, cowls, lightweight garments, and accessories.
